HI, WE'RE MILITEX
So, who are we?
We’re Lenny and Jimmy, the founders of Militex.
Both born and bred in London (although we’ve since escaped the smoke and ventured into the Home Counties), we’re lifelong watch enthusiasts with a bit of a weakness for a good-looking timepiece.
Militex is very much a hands-on operation. We’re the designers, manufacturers, photographers, website builders, social media people and, most importantly, the customer service team.
In fact, when you buy a Militex watch, you’re dealing directly with us.
When you commit to a Militex, we commit to you.
Basically, the buck stops here.
SO WHERE DO WE START?
Well, it all started with a love of watches.
We’ve always loved the classic watches of the world. The heritage, the character, the styling and, quite frankly, the fact that some watches just look bloody fantastic.
But there was a problem.
We didn’t particularly fancy the eye-watering prices, insurance bills and general anxiety that can sometimes come with owning a high-end watch.
So, what were we going to do?
Make our own, of course.
Easy, right?
Well... not exactly.
We started asking ourselves a few questions.
Could we create a British-built watch brand that combined robust, reliable movements, quality materials and timeless designs, but at prices that didn’t require a second mortgage?
Could we actually build watches that we’d be proud to wear ourselves?
And, perhaps most importantly...
Could two blokes with a good idea actually pull it off?
There was only one way to find out.
So, in 2022, we decided to give it a go, just as COVID
kicked in.
What followed was a rather larger commitment of time, money and learning new skills than we had not originally anticipated!
There were designs to develop, suppliers to find, movements to understand, materials to source, trademarks to secure and an alarming amount of equipment to buy.
Oh, and the financial commitment?
Let’s not talk about that.
But we believed in the idea, so we kept going.
And that’s how Militex was born.
AND HERE WE ARE...
Fast forward to July 2026, and after years of designing, testing, tweaking, learning, experimenting and probably drinking far too much coffee, Militex is officially launched.
We’re not trying to be the biggest watch brand in the world.
We simply want to make great-looking, well-built watches that we’d happily wear ourselves, and offer them at prices that represent genuine value.
We’re proud of where we’ve come from, proud to be building Militex in Great Britain, and excited about where we’re going.
So, welcome to Militex.
