Building a Watch Brand
We loved—and still love—the classic watches of the world: the heritage, the look, the style. But no longer wanted the liability or the cost associated with owning a high-end watch. So, what were we to do?
Sometimes, the best way to move forward is to take control of the narrative yourself.
That’s why we decided to create our watch brand: Militex.

We are Lenny and Jimmy, and for over 30 years, as watch enthusiasts, we’ve been captivated by the artistry and craftsmanship of timepieces, and this passion has driven us to create something extraordinary.
​Introducing Militex: a British-designed, British-built watch brand that masterfully blends robust movements, premium materials, and timeless designs—all at prices that make luxury accessible.
Since 2019, we’ve poured our hearts into Militex, meticulously developing a brand that embodies innovation, quality, and enduring craftsmanship. Our journey first took flight in 2022 with a successful Kickstarter launch, earning rave reviews and a wave of pre-orders. But then, the world paused. The global disruption of Covid-19 forced us to halt production due to uncertain component supplies, suspend our campaign and rethink our path. We didn't want to make promises we could not keep or commit to a timeline when the world was in such uproar.
This got us thinking of the future, what if we held component stock in the UK, sourced as many components as we could in the UK and manufactured here. This would allow us to control the manufacture and quality of our watches, along with offering a better after-sales service.
Just as importantly, it would also help create British jobs
and help put a little bit of "Great" back into Britain.

Now, in 2025, we’re back—stronger, bolder, and more determined than ever. After four years of relentless development and sourcing, we’re thrilled to unveil our new designs, proudly built in-house and quality-controlled right here in the UK.
Militex pays homage to the classic designs that have stood the test of time, reimagined for the modern era. Each watch is a celebration of heritage and innovation, crafted to be as reliable as it is elegant. This isn’t just about telling time—it’s about honouring it.
